Chilis@Klcc

Today we decide to try chilis. Chilis at KLCC has always being mark as a "full-house" restaurant. I'm not sure about others, but the last time when i was at Chili's at One Utama and Mid Valley, the crowd was not as mad as Chili's at KLCC.  Last Ramadhan it was madness. The queue was so long that we decided not to join the crowd until raya. Now since Raya has come, we try our luck again to see if there is any seats available for us. So we went all the way up to Level 3 ( Just in front of the escalator).
Some Friendly Staff of Chili's
Saw a Malay lady asking something, so we thought there are not seat available or we have to wait for at least 30 minutes before they could serve us.
Fortunately there is. It took us less than 3 minutes out of 10 minutes given time by Chili's Staff for us to get a seat. Environment wise is good.
Saw the Floor Manager was talking to one of the customer and ask if everything is ok with the food. I was wondering if he does that to every customer. We shall see later. (* Nope...he does not. Guess he really just go randomnly...)

Flipping through the menu, saw a few interesting stuff which i would like to try. Their Flamed Grilled Meals look inviting. Their Fajitas is also tempting ( My girl take that ) and their desserts also looks yummy. But as always, the photo inside the menu are always over exaggerating. Why? Cause it always not as good as it gets when it comes to the real one. Seriously i'm still finding a restaurant which is totally honest with their Food picture. Like what you see is what you get kinda thing. Of course if i go mamak stall i would get that, but for a medium to high class restaurant, what i wanna see is their sincerity in decorating their food.

Back to the menu, My eyes were caught on this Menu item.

The Southwestern Lamb. I was like...hmmm...looks yummy. Does it taste yummy as well?? Not sure though but it does caught my attention. With their mash potatoes and vegetables, it look promising i must say.
So in the end i order myself that and My Girl take the Mexican Fajito Trio which both cost around RM30++ each.

Soutwestern Lamb
The decoration and the mashed potatoes does look interesting, BUT there are a let down. If you see carefully on the lamb, the left part was cooked well, but the right one seems raw. But maybe it just my eyes, so... let's move on...

Just look at those Creamy yummy Mashed potatoes. It does taste great. I have to admit that. But again, like i said, the Lamb are not fully cooked as what i expected. Wanted to complaint but then again, i'm not in the mood of doing that as the rest of the food looks ok with me. So it can be forgiven .

And this is what my gf ordered. Fajita Trio. I didn't taste it cause i was busy with my plate. But she said it tastes good. Well, it does look yummy. Hehehehe :)

So what's my verdict for this restaurant? If it's not because of that little raw lamb, i would have given at least 4 out of 5. Well, learn the mistake, let me come again, and i'll give this restaurant more star.
